If you want to add any other icons to your desktop while you’re here, go for it. When you’re done, the PC icon will appear on your desktop. In my case, it was placed at the bottom left-hand corner, if that also happens to you, click on it and drag and drop it where you want it to go.
Don’t forget that you can also access This PC by searching for it in the Cortana search bar. If not, you can also access it through the File Explorer, the PC option will be one of the few ones on top.
