To disable search suggestions in Bing:
While logged into Bing, click the hamburger menu in the top right of the homepage.
Click "Settings" > "More" in the dropdown menu which appears.
Clear the "See search suggestions as you type" checkbox under "Search suggestions."
Tired of watching Bing try to read your mind as you type a search result? There's a fairly well hidden setting that stops it from doing that.

Head to the Bing homepage and then click the hamburger menu in the top-right. Click "Settings" and then "More" in the dropdown menu which appears.
This will bring up Bing's rather dated-looking setings interface. Make sure you're on the "Search" section (click the "Search" tab in the menu to the left if not).

Look for the "Search suggestions" heading. Clear the checkmark from the "See search suggestions as you type" checkbox. Next, click the blue "Save" button at the bottom of the screen to finish.
Bing will stop suggesting search results within its searchbox, potentially saving you some bandwidth and frustration. The change should persist across all of your devices. You will need to make sure that you stay signed-in to Bing so that your preference can be loaded.
